What was the goal of the project?
This project started with a question, "how can you turn one form of energy into another form of energy?" The rules were that we could get supplies from anywhere but had to turn one form of energy to a different form of energy by way of heat energy to mechanical energy or even solar power ot kinetic energy.
Brainstorm
My group and I instantly started with the thought of using a sterling engine in some way whether it was to make a sterling engine from scratch or incorporate the engine into a build for something else.
How a sterling engine works?
Heat is produced by something on the bottom of the engine and the heat expands rising up pushing the piston up while cold air then pushes the piston down from the top spinning the flywheel.
What did my group decide to do?
My group decided to take chemical energy or a chemical reaction that produces lots of heat put it under the sterling engine and attach the engine and reaction to a small wooden car. Then we would take a rubber band wrap it around the flywheel then to the front axle of the car to move the car forward, however this did not work. We then decided to do the same thing with rubber bands but attached to an axle for a windmill. This project would've taken chemical and heat energy and transformed it to mechanical energy.

Conclusion
In this project I feel that my group and I worked very well together and didn't have many problems. A couple peaks we had were that we got the sterling engine working and got our whole project to work together once or twice. While a couple falls would be that our project wouldn't stay together very well and broke a few times. Our collaboration and communication was high with everybody working on something at the same time and being efficient. Overall this project was a success to see changing of energy and failure because our project didn't fully work well.
